Setting up Individual Email Results and viewing the data in Salesforce Sales

Post by Abdur11 »

After presenting the possibilities of the Marketing Cloud and Salesforce CRM connector , as well as the data structure that is created when installing it, in this article we are going to tell you how to activate the reception of data from individual shipments from Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

Setting up Individual Email Results
Options on SFMC connector
If you want to receive information from SFMC to Salesforce CRM , you must activate a series of options in the SFMC connector. Thus, in the Tracking section of the connector, you will see the following:

Marketing Cloud Connector Tracking
The configuration options you have are:

Individual level tracking – This option allows tracking data for telegram philippines individual subscribers (i.e. when the subscriber opened the email, whether they clicked on any links, etc.) to be stored in Salesforce.
Tracking Link Details: This option allows you to collect detailed link tracking data (i.e. link clicked, number of times clicked, etc.).
Tracking Sent Events: Tracking data at the individual subscriber level will be stored in Salesforce after the email is sent to the recipient. If this option is not selected, this data will be stored in Salesforce only in the event of an action by the user (opening the email or clicking on a link). Please note that this option will store a lot of information and in many cases is not activated.
Before you check all the options, consider that each and every one of them will consume additional Salesforce storage.

But what are Individual Email Results?
Individual Email Results (IERs) are related to Contacts or Leads in Salesforce and allow Sales/Service users to have information regarding the activity of their contacts or leads in Marketing Cloud (sends, email opens, clicks, etc.).
