If these are projects from the same industry, and this is often the case, then we have not one, but many perspectives.
If these are multiple industries, then while one person, working in an independent position in one company, gets to know only one industry, we simultaneously gain experience or knowledge in several.
That's why I'm very happy that in my career I had the opportunity to work in many advertising agencies, as well as later on the client side. Because thanks to that I gained many perspectives of different industries.
And one of the definitions of innovation is that you transfer a practice that works in one industry to another. And idea generation or the science of idea generation can also be about that.
Let's remember that marketing, from my perspective, is a semi-creative activity.
