Facebook ad auctions are based on machine learning. The algorithm needs information to function properly. You provide some of it by setting up your audience. In addition, the algorithm takes into account a lot of variables, the most important of which are your budget, bidding strategy, optimization settings, and advertising goals. Generally speaking, it can distinguish people who are more likely to take a specific action from those who are not.

Advertising Goals and Optimization Methods
You indicate your advertising goals when creating each Facebook campaign. We often lebanon rcs data do this quite thoughtlessly, yet they determine the available optimization methods. This makes configuration easier, but also makes it worth choosing the goal consciously.
Advertising objectives are divided into three groups, corresponding to the stages of the purchasing funnel. Not by accident.
Each one has a set of specific goals, including brand recognition, reach, website traffic, and app installs.
The people you reach and the available display optimization methods at the level of the ads themselves depend on the chosen objective.
For example: when selecting the “Traffic” objective, you have the following methods at your disposal: landing page views, link clicks or daily reach.
Let's go back to our example ad.
If you want to reach as many people as possible, you will probably choose the “Reach” objective and the method of the same name. Facebook will try to show your ebook to as many people as possible.
However, if you want to focus on the highest possible sales of the guide, you will reach for the "Conversions" objective. Now, Facebook will show ads to those users who are most likely to buy your product. In turn, if you complement this with the "Value" objective, you will also (potentially) reach people who can make purchases for a larger amount. Tempting, right?
As you can see, ads targeted to the same audience by changing the objective and optimization method will appear to different users and produce different results.
But in what way?
