What is the risk?

EGOBAIT - POTENTIAL RISK
However, there is a certain risk involved with using an egobait-based strategy. As with some marketing tricks, including the one-time offer method I discussed .

If we invite someone just to “get our hands on” their target group, we are not properly prepared, and it is clear that we are hosting this person just because they are an influencer in a given industry, it will be easy to see through us. If the person on the other side knows and understands this strategy, they will realize that it is a cheap trick. And that we do not care about giving value to the recipients together, but about showing ourselves to someone.

So I think the main task with this strategy is not to focus on who you want to malaysia rcs data reach and who can mediate that, but first and foremost, which of those people can add value to your content, and one that will be useful to you and to other recipients.

As you can see, you have to be very careful when using egobait because a lot of people try to use this strategy for bad purposes.

TYPES OF CONTENT THAT ARE WORTH USING
Let’s see what types of “egobait” content are most often used by people who create new content:

entries,
publications,
movies,
podcasts, and so on.
1. Rankings
The materials that we encounter most often, and at the same time those that usually “smell bad,” are all kinds of rankings of inspiring people. Specialists in a given industry, people dealing with a given thing, and the like.

You've probably come across such rankings more than once, and I understand perfectly well why they're created. On the one hand, they're valuable to the recipient - they let us get to know people we don't know yet, but who are worth following. Then, by necessity, we look for such rankings to find out who others are following or who is recommended by recognized people in the industry. The whole thing comes down to how this type of material was prepared.

I'll give you an example:
My podcast was once included in a certain ranking of marketing shows. And everything would be fine, if not for the fact that almost all podcasts about marketing that are created in our beautiful country on the Vistula River were included in this list.

Supposedly, it was a list of the best, or most listened to productions. So when I saw my name on it, I of course had to click to see what position I occupied.
