To get started with Threads, use your Instagram account to log in. (Don't worry, your username and verification will remain.) If you want to edit your profile once you're logged in, you can do that too. Whether you want to follow the same people you already follow on Instagram or find like-minded people, there's a whole community waiting to be discovered on Threads.

Create a Thread
To create your first Thread, think of an idea, opinion, or conversation topic (up to 500 characters) that you'd like to share. Explore
In your feed, you'll see content from your current connections, as well as recommendations from other creators. If you want to browse around and find something new, you can also discover new accounts through the search bar or follow suggestions.

Once you've created your new Thread, don't just post it and forget about it. Make sure you interact with it, as well as with other users' content.
