There are several paid tools like SOASTA mPulse that allow you to observe these values. Or you have the possibility to monitor these metrics in Google Analytics (you can find the link to the solution, developed and customized by me, at the bottom of the article).
The most important part is that RUM data is closely linked with User Experience and business metrics such as bounce rate, page views, time spent on site and of course conversion rate (especially in the case of e-commerce).
You cannot use RUM to benchmark philippines phone number list against competitors or to test a staging site.
What tools do you use to measure a site's performance?
To perform a website speed test I mostly use Google Lighthouse and WebPageTest which help me perform synthetic tests.
While to observe Real User Monitoring (RUM) data, I use a custom solution by implementing an integration between Navigation Timing API, GTM and Google Analytics .
I also use NewRelic for monitoring high traffic websites.
What parameters allow us to evaluate the performance perceived
by users?
To improve the perceived web performance of a website you can optimize the critical rendering path (CRP).
One way to see how long it takes for a website to start displaying and rendering content for a user would be to use WebPageTest.org and look at the “ Start Render ” metric.
A kind of filmstrip that shows the entire loading of a website in frames with an interval of 0.5 seconds (you can also choose other intervals before running a test).
