Before starting construction on the site, it is necessary to formalize its boundaries, namely, to erect a fence. When building a fence, there are certain rules that must be followed so that neighboring rights and current technical standards are not violated. Among them:

The distance between a private house and a neighbor's fence should not exceed 3 meters. It is measured from the base of the house to the immediate border with neighbors. If the house has protruding elements (for example, a porch, canopy or roof) and they protrude more than 0.5 m, then the distance should be measured from them.

The distance to the road should not be less than 5 m, to dead-end courtyards or streets with inactive traffic – from 3 meters.
If it is possible to reach an agreement with the neighbors, it is permissible to block their outbuildings during the construction process.
