Startups are companies in an early stage of development and that have growth opportunities. Many companies that are large today were previously (Startups) such as Google , Apple , Starbucks , among others.

Google
In 1995, two young men from the university met while they were on a trip to the campus. They were young computer scientists and had a common goal: to obtain essential information. The following year they began a collaboration on the BackRub search engine (search engine of the 90s). Larry began to work on finding an area for the servers of the PCs and these would not need high-powered instruments to operate.
In 1997, the technology used by BackRub for link analysis began to be recognized throughout the Campus and gained a reputation. This was the support column with which Google began to grow.
The name of the famous search engine came from the Switzerland telegram data group of letters (googol) that was implemented by Milton Sirotta .
In September 1998, Google Inc. was headquartered in Menio Park, California. Google . com was in beta, with barely ten thousand searches a day, and newspapers began to talk about the innovation and the good performance of this new search engine. From there, it grew by leaps and bounds until it became the most widely used Internet search engine worldwide. Its headquarters are currently in Mountain View.
Apple
Steve Jobs and Steve Wosniak 's passion for computers and electronics gave rise to their first computer (Apple I).
Steve Jobs saw a great business opportunity and presented his project at the Howebrew Computer Club.
In that first phase they had two hundred orders for the Apple I, so they decided to look for financing. During that search, Steve Jobs met Mike Markkula , who decided to invest. In April 1975, Apple Computer was created .
Some time later they launched the Apple II , a huge sales success, and in 1984 the famous Apple Macintosh . Today Apple is one of the largest technology companies in the world.
Starbucks
Their first location opened in Seattle in 1971. Created by 3 former students of the University of San Francisco, in the beginning they simply sold coffee beans.
Howard Schultz , the company's president, joins Starbucks in the 1980s. Howard was surprised by the great reception of the Espresso, the Mocha and the Lattes in Italy.
In the 1990s, Starbucks began an incredible climb, expanding first to other cities in the US and then around the world.
Starbucks currently has more than 12,000 locations in more than fifty countries, and has become the most famous coffee shop in the world.
