You can use WordPress backup plugins or manually make a copy of the file directory and database.
Step 2: Access the media library.
Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard using your admin credentials. Once inside, head to “Media” in the left side menu and select “Library.” This is where you’ll find all the images and media files you’ve uploaded to your site.
Step 3: Install a bulk download plugin (optional).
Although WordPress doesn’t offer a built-in feature to download all images from your media library at once, there are plugins that will make this process easier for you. You can search the WordPress plugin directory for keywords like “download images” or “bulk download” to find available options. Install and activate the plugin of your choice by following the instructions provided by the plugin developer.
Step 4: Select all images.
If you chose not to use a bulk download plugin, you can still select all images manually. To do so, click the checkbox in the top left corner of the image list. This will select all images on the current page.
Step 5: Increase the number of items per page (optional).
By default, WordPress displays a limited number of images in the media library per page. If you have a large number of images and don't want to select them all at once, you can increase the number of items per page at the top right of the media library. This will allow you to select more images at once.
Step 6: Use the “Download” option or the plugin (if you installed one).
If you chose a bulk download plugin, follow the plugin's instructions to perform the download. If you did not use a plugin, after selecting the images, click the "Download" option that will appear at the top of the list of selected images. The images will be downloaded in a compressed ZIP file to your device.
