If you're new to LinkedIn automation and unsure of the best way to protect your account from being blocked or suspended, remember that LinkedIn is the social network The Growth Machine relies on to execute effective growth marketing strategies and quickly achieve business goals.
More than just a CV, LinkedIn is your digital business card. It is the pillar on which your credibility and know-how are based.
However, LinkedIn is not a big fan of automation on the largest professional platform. That’s why they set limitations to discourage the pace of outreach automation.
And that's why I'm writing this article! Do you want to know what these Linkedin Limits are and how to ceo email list better adjust them on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn is experimenting heavily in this regard.
In October 2023, LinkedIn announced that it would be changing its policy regarding weekly connection limits.
For 2-3 weeks, free users were shown messages indicating that they would be
limited to 200 characters in your invitation notes limited to 5 to 10 invitations per MONTH!!
We wrote about these tests on… LinkedIn!
These tests have been stopped and cancelled. Everything is back to normal: this article is updated
Why should you care about LinkedIn limits?
When you send “too many” LinkedIn messages or connection requests per week due to automation, you run the risk of setting off LinkedIn alarms.
Indeed, LinkedIn strives to maintain a high-quality user experience on its platform, and if you overuse automated outreach messages, you will be considered spam.
The risks of doing this on LinkedIn are as follows:
Get your account temporarily suspended.
Receive a permanent ban and account deletion.
However, if you read these guidelines carefully, you should not have any problems.
Come on
Scenario 1: New/not very active account
If your account is a few weeks old (or much older, but you barely use it), just like with the warm-up email , you'll need to slowly increase your daily volume.
Be smart about it. An unusual spike in activity will alert LinkedIn that something is wrong. No human would suddenly go from barely any activity to hundreds of connection requests and direct messages in a week.
