Fast food chain Subway unveiled its new visual identity late last year, the result of a brand redesign in which the sandwich chain is taking a fresh look at its business to keep pace with a rapidly changing industry.

And speaking of the new logo design , it features a vibrant , curved “S” design that stands tall, bold and confident, capturing the essence of the brand in a fresh, contemporary look . The core colors have been optimized to live and work across all channels, and the symbol, a new visual identity asset , distills the iconic arrows into a powerfully simple mark. The new symbol hides the same “S” in the new logo between two large arrows and in turn forms a larger, graphic “S,” which will be easily recognizable as it becomes a social media icon.

Customers will now start to see the new iconic logo , symbol and optimized color palette on new packaging , uniforms and signage , and by the end of 2017, the new visual identity will be rolled out worldwide.
