Google Tag Manager is an extremely effective and helpful analytical tool. One of its greatest advantages is the availability and support of tags from many providers, not just those related to the Google family. The list of available templates and built-in tags currently includes dozens of items - importantly, it is systematically expanded. That is why today I will show you the most popular tags and functions of Google Tag Manager.

This post is a continuation of a series of posts about Google Tag Manager. If you are not familiar with this tool at all, I refer you to the post “ What is Google Tag Manager “ first. And then, of course, back here!

That said, let’s get back to the list of the most popular tags implemented poland rcs data using Google Tag Manager.

In the article you will read about:

GOOGLE ANALYTICS UNIVERSAL TRACKING
Google Tag Manager – implementing Google Ads codes
Form completion tracking
Google Tag Manager – Heat Maps
Facebook Pixel
GOOGLE ANALYTICS UNIVERSAL TRACKING
Absolutely crucial and basic code that is responsible for collecting information about all traffic on the website and sending it to Google Analytics .

After installing the basic code , you will have access to important data, but it is worth enriching it with events. Without them, you will not know what exactly is happening on individual subpages.

And you can check a lot, such as:

Did the user scroll past your blog post?
Did he click on the link?
Have you filled out the newsletter subscription form?
Without event tracking, you’re mostly guessing – you only know that someone visited a page, but what happened during that visit? So how do you adjust your remarketing ? You also have less ability to measure the effects of the changes you make to your site. Many questions remain unanswered.

By the way, I also recommend the text about conversion tracking in Google Analytics .

Remember : make sure to move all of your GA tracking to Tag Manager. If some of it is in the code and some is in GTM, you may have problems collecting data correctly.
