Of… brand fans. Have you ever heard that your iPhone isn’t working the way it should because you’re holding it wrong? A radical fan won’t accept that a beloved brand could have done anything wrong. You’re to blame.

Another example is the console wars. If you bought an Xbox, you will quickly discover that some games you want to play are only available on Plastation. You will probably start telling yourself that they are not that good and that iran rcs data Microsoft's console games are better overall. You may even start participating in discussions about this on internet forums, just to find like-minded people and calm down with social proof.

This is of course a bit of an oversimplification, but you understand the connection. Next time you start to justify your decisions (not necessarily purchases) to yourself, keep in mind whether you are not using rationalization.
