Instagram Camera vs Vine – what now?

The campaign started literally days ago and so far about seven thousand people have taken part in it. Although it is assessed positively, its flaws include the lack of a clear call to action. It ends with a summary tweet, but it does not call for any help for the foundation, whether in the form of volunteering or a donation. Was it a wasted opportunity? If the creators really did not think about it, it would be a great pity, because the mechanics are great.

I wrote about a similar campaign a few months ago. Back then, as part of the fight against Alzheimer's, we could erase all of our content from Facebook for one day , the day of fighting the disease - September 21. Who knows, maybe this was the source of inspiration for Canadian creators.

I don't think Instagram Camera will wipe out Vine. For a simple reason. The image above is wrong. The Vine community is not just a group filming their lives.

Longer doesn't mean better

So instead of watching photos of food, we'll now be able to watch entire videos of someone eating it. It's scary to think what kind of transformation awaits their beaks. Will we see sound effects? Smacking, smacking? Only Instagram Camera will provide us with such attractions.
