Modular parquet appeared on the domestic construction market relatively recently. Its main advantage is that the pattern of the panels is assembled in industrial conditions by highly qualified specialists. Unlike the piece analogue, it is easy and quick to install, which means that it will not be difficult to do the entire volume of work yourself. And the final result of the floor covering from modules will be almost impossible to distinguish from the complex and expensive work of laying out piece elements. And this applies not only to the appearance, but also to its characteristics. The article will discuss the variety and method of laying modular parquet.

Modular parquet is a ready-made multilayer panel consisting of a cement-bonded particleboard or chipboard plate, a layer of plywood, and wooden slats made of coniferous species (most often pine). This is a general type of module, but depending on the different base, modular parquet from the manufacturer is divided into several types:

P3 – the base is made of chipboard, which macedonia mobile database a double-sided veneer coating;
PSH3 – based on cement-bonded particle board:
PS1 – the frame is made in the form of a wooden frame with a slatted base, the space is filled with wooden decorative slats;
ПЩ2 – also has a slatted base with a frame, but veneer is used as the facing;
PSh4 is the most expensive type of modular covering. The panels are made with a double slatted base, the fibers of which are arranged perpendicular to each other in different layers.

According to the type of facing, parquet boards are divided into:
