TV shows and games are still very siloed

There’s a lot of creative exploration to be done and a lot of risk to be taken. The Star Wars franchise uses Unreal Engine in the vast majority of its products (TV, movies, VR, theme parks, games, etc.), but we’ve yet to see a truly shared experience that spans multiple formats and uses the same assets, environments, characters, and stories. I see two challenges that need to be overcome for this to happen. The first is obviously risk management, because these practices are still being proven.


The other reason is financing, the sources of linkedin database financing for films, . We could see innovation and momentum coming from outside the traditional production/studio system.

Consuming content in the metaverse The metaverse is the extension of the internet to real-time 3D, meaning that we will be able to enjoy immersive and interactive multi-user experiences in connected virtual worlds. Kids are flocking to platforms like Fortnite, Roblox or Minecraft because they are experiences that emphasize the social function. They offer a wide range of games and activities, they allow control over content and self-expression.
