Not all heat shrink machines are the same, and they come in two basic types: I-sealers and L-sealers.

I-Bar Sealers: This is your choice for low to medium volume applications. They feature a long bar that makes single cuts in PVC or polyolefin film. After cutting, the film is often compressed using a heat gun or heat tunnel.
L -Shaped Sealers: When it comes to medium to high-end shrink packaging applications, L-shaped machines excel. Their "L" shaped cutting bar requires only one pass around the product for a clean cut. Like their I-shaped counterparts, L-shaped machines can also be used with heat guns or heat tunnels.
Supply of material
Shrink wrap machines offer flexibility in terms of material feeding:

Flat Roll: This method involves wrapping the product in flat shrink film, providing a tight seal after heating.
Centerfold Film: With centerfold film, the plastic is south africa number data fed on a roll and folded in half inside the machine. The edges are sealed to form a bag, which is then heated, causing it to shrink around the product.
Preformed Pouches: Preformed pouches have one open end, allowing for easy insertion of product, sealing and then squeezing.
Additional functions
Shrink packaging machines are not disposable; they have a variety of additional features to meet different needs. From aseptic or sanitary options to robotic automation, these machines can be customized to meet specific requirements. Whether you need protection in hazardous areas or a portable solution, there is a shrink packaging machine tailored to your needs.
