Note: When choosing a password, make sure it is difficult for others to guess and easy for you to remember. Use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and symbols. Avoid using easily guessed information, such as birthdays or common words.
For local accounts
If you use a local account on your Windows 11 device, follow these steps to set or change your password:
Press Windows+Ithe keys simultaneously to open the Windows Settings app.
In the Settings window, click Accounts to access your account settings.
