1. Call for Presenters: United Nations War Crimes Commission Conference. Maynooth University Law Department and the Centre for International Studies and Diplomacy in SOAS are holding a joint online joint conference on the United Nations War Crimes Commission (UNWCC), which will take place on 19 November 2021. The conference organisers invite presentations from scholars in all disciplines, including law, history, international relations and political science. This call for presenters is open to researchers at all career levels; established scholars and researcher new to this subject are welcome to apply. Many leading scholars have written on the UNWCC and we welcome further exploration of the UNWCC and its Archives. The call for presenters is accessible on the MU Law website.

2. Jindal Society of International Law Lecture Series: Exploring the rcs database Ecosystem of International Law. The Jindal Society of International Law is hosting its Fall Lecture Series of 2021, ‘Exploring the Ecosystem of International Law’, which builds upon the introduction given on internationalism and international law by the concluded Spring Lecture Series, titled ‘Future of Internationalism and International Law’. The Fall Series endeavours to study the different contours of international law. The first lecture of the Fall 2021 Lecture Series is on the topic ‘Private Remedy for Breaches of International Law Norms’. The lecture will be hosted online and is scheduled for 16:30 IST on 6 August 2021. Attendees should register for the lecture here.
