Market situation at the beginning of the war

On the other hand, during the first quarter of 2022, many product categories experienced a revival due to the lifting of restrictions on movement and communication in Ukraine and most European countries. This is due to the start of mass vaccination against COVID-19. Categories that had previously stagnated due to restrictions began to actively recover. For example, in our portfolio, we noticed a significant recovery in demand for cough and cold medicines.

Growth was also seen in non-viral categories such as pain relief creams and denture creams. This is because demand for these products was low during the lockdown due to limited activity, but as the situation improved, demand picked up again.
