The mobile affiliate market in Brazil has been focusing on CPA campaigns. Around 96% of active mobile campaigns on our platform operate on a commission-based model for sales or actions within the app. But this is more positive for affiliates than it seems.

According to the study on Mobile Commerce in Brazil, conducted by Panorama Mobile Time/Opinion iran mobile phone numbers database Box in April 2018, more than 74% of Smartphone users have already made purchases via their cell phones. The study sought to understand the behavior of consumers who have access to the internet via their cell phones and to this end, it interviewed approximately 1,953 Brazilians from different social classes and regions. The margin of error for the study is 2%, either way.

What makes these numbers promising for affiliates are their implications. 83% of consumers who made purchases via mobile phones during the survey period rated themselves as satisfied or very satisfied with their purchases. And around 63% of consumers say they buy more via mobile phones than via desktops. Diving deeper into the study data, 59% of consumers prefer to pay via credit card versus 31% who preferred bank slips. The study also classifies Facebook and WhatsApp as some of the main shopping channels, accounting for 8% and 5% respectively. And around 37% of purchases made via mobile devices represent food purchases.

Actionpay has several campaigns for mobile purchases. Some apps, such as Rappi, offer food purchases in supermarkets with payment via credit card. If you want to try this campaign, click here to join the ANDROID campaign and click here to join the IOS campaign.

The study also analyzes the use of apps and their various categories. Around 51% of users say they have made purchases on clothing apps, 47% said they have purchased electronics, 37% food, 33% beauty products, 32% fashion accessories, books and home appliances. Within the running apps, 64% of users said they have paid for rides using their smartphones. The mobile market is growing, and the possibilities for advertising through the affiliate market are just beginning.
