Where does Quiet Quitting come from and what are the reasons?

Quiet quitting refers to the practice of leaving a job without an official notice or formal resignation. Instead of giving an official notice, the employee simply stops coming in or leaves the workplace without notice. The employer will often not notice that an employee has stopped coming in until he/she does not report to work or respond to calls or emails.

There are various reasons why someone might choose to quit quietly.
