First, passion and commitment wane

Self-organization, agility and freedom in the execution of work. These are all terms that characterize our modern working world. But if you look at the Gallup Engagement Index, an annual survey that examines the sense of belonging and commitment of employees in Germany, a different picture emerges.
According to the survey, 15% of the 1,000 employees surveyed no longer have any ties to telecommunications email list the company and say they are working to the letter, and another 15% are close to doing so and are already largely working to the letter. Imagine that 1/3 of your company is only working to the letter and no longer identifies with the company.
Working to the letter goes unnoticed, especially at the beginning, and is hardly noticed by management when there is a lack of time. The employee hardly gets involved and passion and commitment wane. This is often OK, however, as the work continues to be done well. After that, however, there are increasing breaks and frustration, which is also verbalized to colleagues. After this phase, the employee falls silent and the working day runs on autopilot. He does not work core working hours of nine to five and without a process. He fulfills his contract: no less, but also no more.
