How to develop a data-forward culture?
Developing a data-driven culture begins with the belief of the highest-ranking executives in the organization. It is senior management that is best positioned to explain the value of data for generating knowledge and to transmit that message to all levels of the company. That is, first understanding and then articulating the strategic importance of data, and then using the insights derived from the analysis of that data to make meaningful business decisions.

Beyond the responsibility of management as a whole , one of the premises of an organizational culture revolving around data is to have, precisely, a Chief Data Officer (CDO) who can view data through a strategic lens, becoming a bridge between business and technology.

To achieve this, there must be clear definitions regarding each of the aspects linked to data governance so that all areas can collaborate productively: their classification, their characteristics, their particularities, how they are processed, with what tools they are analyzed, how they are combined, what perspectives can be adopted to read them .
