Miranda apologized after the film was released because there were no dark-skinned Afro-Latinx actors in the film's main roles. "We failed in our attempt to paint the mosaic of this community. I am truly sorry. So keep this colorism in mind when watching and take this title and this entire list with a grain of salt. Latina barely appears in single titles. Victoria Moroles and Kuhu Verma star in the project.
