Boeing’s Defense, Space & Security division designs and manufactures products and services for government and commercial customers around the world. Boeing has a significantly larger claim on the U.S. government through its Defense, Space & Security division. Before the pandemic, the aircraft giant had seen a modest improvement in revenue generated by the division, from $24 billion in 2017 to $26.2 billion in 2019.
Defense products and services revenues come from the sale of military aircraft, weapons and related products and services. On the other hand, Boeing also generates revenues from the sale of satellites, rocket launch services and other products and services for space exploration.
Worldwide services
Boeing’s global services include aftermarket support for the mixed fleets of aircraft and defense chile phone number data products it produces. They provide services that integrate with Boeing’s aircraft and other related systems. Some of these services include fleet services, digital services/solutions, training, and maintenance, to name a few.
According to one report, the aerospace manufacturer earned about $17 billion in revenue in 2022. At the time, that was a huge jump given the COVID-19 pandemic, which slowed the economy, and lawsuits filed against Boeing as a manufacturer.
