How to interpret the numbers in this report?

Post by roseline371277 »

In the report, click on the country tab, select “geographic segmentation” and select the country you want.

Mobile Usability
Mobile users are growing and will continue to grow as time goes on.

If you have an online business , you must know how to solve usability problems on your website on mobile devices.

In 2012, Google noted that 74% of mobile users would revisit a site if it was optimized for their device.

The same study found that 64% of online consumers buy more if they can complete their purchase from their mobile phone.

Although the study was conducted 5 years ago, the trend was for these figures to remain the same and even increase surprisingly.

Faced with this scenario, Google Search decided to help website owners. In this sense, it created a section that shows you the pages that register problems when browsing from a mobile device. Let's look at this case:

Let's focus on the box we marked in red. As you can see, Google Search explains to you what the problem is that the pages present.

Some errors that Google Console Search can detect are:

Content does not fit the screen: Content that causes the user to position the screen horizontally in order to continue reading.
Small font size: As the error says, the font is too small and the mobile user cannot read the content.
Close proximity touch elements: Refers to buttons and navigation links that users cannot select due to their proximity to each other.
Google Search Console Index
The Google Index is made up of three tools. They are perfect assistants to know the indexing status of each page and, if you wish, to delete URLs.

Indexing status
With the Google Search Console indexing status report , you can find out how many pages have been added over the last 12 months.

It offers you two tabs to see the number of indexed URLs, the basic view looks more or less like this:

Overall, you can see all indexed content. But in the advanced view, you can see more specific and valuable data to consider. For example:

Total URLs indexed.
URLs blocked by robots
URLs removed.
Of course, you're probably wondering what you're doing with these numbers. When there's a significant increase in indexed URLs, it's because Google can easily access your site and correctly crawl your content.

That means you have an excellent, readable structure that will be indexed without any problems. That's a positive thing.

Now, when the opposite is the case (you see a low number of indexed pages) it means that you are in canada mobile number trouble. It can be due to 3 problems:

Google is having difficulty accessing your website.
The server has stopped working.
The server is overloaded and that leads to point 1.
Blocked resources
Google's robot needs to access your pages' resources to interpret and index them without problems.

When the robot has problems crawling, Google interprets that the resources (Javascript, CCS styles, etc.) are inaccessible or blocked.

This may sound more serious than it is. It just means that those items will not be able to be indexed until the owner can enable them.

The blocked resources report in Google Search Console looks something like this:

Below this graph, it shows you which pages have blocked resources.

When you click on any of the options, you can see instructions on how to proceed with the opt-in. This will allow Googlebot to crawl and index it later.
